Nuqa is built so your data never leaves your iPhone. There are no accounts or sign-ups, and we collect no data about you.

Photos and videos

With your permission, Nuqa reads your photo library to find duplicates, similar shots and large files. All analysis runs on your iPhone using Apple’s built-in Vision framework; no photo or video is ever uploaded to any server.
Analysis results (numbers such as sharpness scores and image fingerprints) are stored only on your device so the library isn’t rescanned each time. Deleting the app erases them.
Nothing is deleted or changed until you approve it in iOS’s own confirmation dialog. Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days.

Contacts (optional)

If you use Duplicate contacts, Nuqa reads names, numbers and emails on your iPhone to compare them. They are never sent anywhere, and nothing is merged without your approval.

Notifications

The weekly reminder and the trial-ending reminder are local notifications scheduled by your iPhone, with no server involved.

Subscription

Payments and subscription checks are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, email or payment details.

What we never collect

No third-party trackers, ads or analytics, and no tracking across apps and websites. The app does not contact our servers at all.

Children

Nuqa is suitable for all ages and collects no data from any user.
